I took this book on vacation with me but didn’t get too far into it as everything was hustle and bustle. I enjoy reading in quiet, relaxed places, something that can be harder and harder to find these days, but I had an enjoyable vacation and reading a book wasn’t my vacation goal. I did have a tragic incident by the pool where the book cover got wet and warped a little. Some book piled on book action was needed later to adjust the book.
So the start of this book was read in a foreign country and then it was finished when I arrived home. Although this is not my favourite Phillip Dick, I felt that some of the characters were very well formed, especially Kott.
